About Hue Atlas

A color reference built on seasonal theory, accessibility, and practical utility.

What Is Hue Atlas?

Hue Atlas is a curated color palette reference covering seasonal color analysis, wedding palettes, hair colors, brand identities, and design eras. Every palette is built on color theory principles and includes hex, RGB, and CMYK values — designed to be immediately useful for designers, stylists, and anyone working with color.

Unlike generic color generators, each palette on Hue Atlas is grounded in a specific context — whether that's a seasonal type like Soft Autumn, a historical period like Art Deco, or an industry like wedding design. The goal is to help you find the right colors for your project and understand why they work together.

Seasonal Color Analysis

At the core of Hue Atlas are the twelve seasonal color types — four seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) each divided into three sub-seasons (True, Soft/Light, and Deep/Warm/Cool). Seasonal color analysis is a system for identifying the palette of colors that harmonize with a person's natural coloring: their skin undertone, hair color, and eye color.

Each seasonal palette on Hue Atlas has been validated against objective color criteria — warm-to-cool ratios, saturation ranges, and contrast levels — to ensure it genuinely represents its season. You won't find a Soft Autumn palette that accidentally drifts into Summer blues, or a Cool Winter palette that borrows from Autumn's warmth.

Our Approach

Every palette on Hue Atlas is created with attention to color accuracy and practical usability. Colors are selected for their real-world applicability — not just theoretical harmony. Where possible, palettes include accessibility notes so you can build designs that work for everyone.

We believe color is a tool, not just decoration. Every palette should answer the question: "Can I use these colors today, in my actual project?"
